Description
Use a range of communication and social competence strategies to develop respectful relationships with children, families, whānau and colleagues.
Demonstrate a basic use of te reo Māori and describe tikanga Māori specific to the early childhood environment.
Identify the place of Māori as tangata whenua and explain the importance of Te Tiriti o Waitangi as it relates to the early childhood environment.
Demonstrate culturally aware behaviours within the early childhood environment of Aotearoa New Zealand.
