Description
The learning outcomes for this course are:
Demonstrate a range of skills relevant to music production including editing, automation, mixing and DAW mastering.
Adapt and apply studio techniques in a live performance setting at an intermediate level.
Manipulate musical ideas in a compositional sense, based on a knowledge of music theory (demonstrating rhythm, melody and harmony); and in a technical sense, based on a knowledge of production techniques.
Describe and critically analyse a range of production styles, methods and techniques from a historical perspective.
Demonstrate the emerging value of Hihiri and development of Aroha and Hono in their professional practice.
