The learning outcomes for this course are:
Demonstrate safe and effective nursing practice of individuals with altered physical health in acute, chronic and rehabilitation phases
Demonstrate collaborative practice with individuals with altered physical health, their family and whānau and the multidisciplinary team
Demonstrate application of pathophysiology relevant to client’s health concerns
Apply health assessment knowledge and skills
Demonstrate application of the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi/Treaty of Waitangi in health
Demonstrate safe nursing practice to meet clinical competencies
Analyse their own practice through reflection
