Utilise an appropriate method/model to recognise and assess an individual who experiences substance misuse issues.

Critically review a brief intervention strategy based on the findings of a brief assessment, utilising motivational interviewing technique for supporting or facilitating change.

Critically analyse substance misuse and its impact on an individual, family/whānau and the community.
