Description

Demonstrate knowledge of cardiac physiology, pathophysiology and classification of heart failure.

Analyse the physiological responses of the failing heart in relation to the patient's clinical presentation.

Critically examine the effects of common pharmacological interventions in the management of heart failure.

Analyse the role and scope of the nurse in the collaborative management of heart failure in the acute and long term phases of illness.
