Description

The learning outcomes for this course are:

Maximise patient outcomes by applying the concepts of best practice in maintenance of skin integrity, pressure injury prevention and care.

Apply knowledge of the pathophysiology of pressure injuries and utilise diagnostic and inquiry skills to change practice.

Critically analyse challenging issues in the provision of care related to patients with impairment of skin integrity/pressure injuries.

Critically reflect on the professional role of the nurse when working with patients with impairment of skin integrity/pressure injuries and the multidisciplinary team.
