A year two fee reduction of $5000, for school leavers with a record of community and cultural leadership.
There are two scholarships:
The Service Leadership Award recognises a student who has demonstrated service leadership at the highest level in their school and community.
The Cultural Leadership Award recognises a student who has given significant time and effort for their school and wider community, specifically in displaying leadership in a cultural area.
Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for one of these scholarships you must:
- Be a Pasifika school leaver in 2024 and enrolled at Ara for the 2025 academic year.
- Meet the academic requirements of your chosen qualification at Ara
- Have been involved in SPACPAC events
- Have the endorsement of your school (e.g. Principal/nominee, Pasifika liaison)
- Please note: You must submit your application before commencing your first year of study at Ara to be considered for this Year 2 fees scholarship.
Please note: if you withdraw your enrolment with Ara prior to the start of 2025, Ara reserves the right to award the scholarship to another applicant.

Any degree programme at Ara Institute of Canterbury.
